About Total Care Transport
Total Care Transport has been providing non-emergency medical transportation across Southern Ontario since 2005. What began as a single vehicle operation in Milton has grown into one of the region's most established NEMT providers, with a fleet of purpose-built vehicles, a team of trained driver-attendants and contracts with hospitals across Ontario. We are locally operated and committed to the communities we serve.
Our History
Total Care Transport was founded in Milton, Ontario in 2005 with a single vehicle and a straightforward mission: to provide dependable, compassionate non-emergency medical transportation to patients who needed it.
Nearly 20 years later that mission has not changed. We have grown to serve hospitals, long-term care homes, retirement residences, hospices and private patients across Halton, Peel, Waterloo Region and the greater Toronto area. We remain based in Milton and proudly locally operated.
Our Fleet
Our fleet of purpose-built vehicles is maintained to the standards required by Ontario's healthcare procurement program and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Total Care Transport is an approved provider on the Mohawk Medbuy procurement program. Mohawk Medbuy is one of Canada's largest group purchasing organizations, managing procurement on behalf of hospitals and healthcare organizations across Ontario.
Being Mohawk Medbuy approved means we have been independently vetted against the insurance, compliance, safety and service standards required by Ontario's healthcare system. It is the credential that hospitals and LTC facilities rely on when selecting NEMT providers, and it is the reason we hold contracts with hospitals across the province.

We hold active contracts with hospitals across Southern Ontario including facilities operated by Halton Healthcare, William Osler Health System, Trillium Health Partners and the Grand River Hospital Network. These contracts represent years of consistent service delivery and an established relationship with Ontario's hospital system.
Our Approach to Care

We transport patients at some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Post-surgical discharges, palliative transfers, dialysis runs after years of treatment. We do not take that responsibility lightly.
